The team at Jenkins Bakery are once again supporting British Pie Week, which runs to Sunday, March 8.
Alongside our best- selling Mince Beef and Onion Pie and popular Steak and local Felinfoel Ale Pie, we have relaunched the Steak and Kidney and Chicken and Mushroom Pies across all shops.
Mince Beef and Onion Pie £1.55
Our fastest selling Pie Variety – Golden Shortcrust pastry case filled with our own Mince Beef and Onion filling, topped with a short pastry lid, always a favourite with our customers.
Steak and Ale Pie £1.80
Chunks of lean beef marinated overnight in local Felinfoel Ale before being cooked to make a delicious rich filling. This is then put into a short pastry case topped with a short pastry lid.
Steak and Kidney £1.80
Chunks of lean Beef and Kidney cooked to a traditional recipe. The filling is contained within a short pastry case and has a light golden puff pastry lid.
Chicken and Mushroom Pie £1.80
Relaunch of our Chicken and Mushroom Pie – one of the country’s most popular varieties. Creamy Chicken and Mushroom filling in a shortcrust shell topped with a decorated shortcrust lid.
There’s a special offer on speciality pies. You can buy any two of the speciality pies for £3.00 – applies to Steak and Ale, Steak and Kidney and Chicken and Mushroom.
British Pie Week takes place every year on the first full week of March and was started back in 2007.
