It was a Wizard Day in Llanelli town centre yesterday.
And staff at the Jenkins Bakery’s shops in the town centre joined in the fun – as you can see from the photos!
Jenkins Bakery regional manager Fiona Snook said: “Our staff always put their heart and soul into supporting Ymlaen Llanelli events in the town centre. They had a fabulous fun day for the Harry Potter Day.”
The latest Ymlaen Llanelli event was called Harry’s Halloween Returns.
It featured Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione lookalikes visiting Stepney Square.
Spellbinding Halloween half-term fun included:
- Wandmaking;
- Face painting;
- Balloon modelling; and
- Children’s rides.
At St Elli Shopping Centre there were Harry and Hagrid selfie cutouts, a Hogwarts replica, a Trick or Treat trail and a Halloween show with a best costume prize.
It was just the latest in a series of crowd-pulling events staged by the Ymlaen Llanelli team from the Llanelli Bid, the Business Improvement District.
The recent food and drink festival was among the most successful and best-attended events staged by Ymlaen Llanelli.
Ymlaen Llanelli manager Mandy Jenkins said: “It was great to see Llanelli town centre pulling in the crowds again for another major event.
“Hopefully, everyone had a magic time with Harry Potter and friends.
“Soon, everyone will be getting ready for Llanelli’s big Christmas Carnival on Friday, November 22.
“It’s great to see everyone having fun and supporting Llanelli town centre with such enthusiasm.”
