The team at Jenkins Bakery are one of the main sponsors of the big Llanelli 80s Festival taking place in the town centre on Saturday (June 29).
Operations director Russell Jenkins said: “We care passionately about our Llanelli town centre and we are delighted to be able to support a huge event which will be a real crowd-puller.
“As a long-established business with roots firmly in Llanelli, we want to see our town centre thrive. Well done to the team at Ymlaen Llanelli for all their hard work in making Saturday a success.”
The day starts with an Armed Forces Parade. The full list of events is as follows –

08:00 – Market stalls to be on site and all vehicles removed
08:30 – Stage to arrive and be erected on Vaughan Street (outside Llanelly House), generators, barriers and deckchairs to arrive
13:00 – Mods and Rockers to ride in past Altalia and park behind deckchairs
Parade and Spring Gardens
09:00 – military vehicles, activities, dais and sound to be erected in Spring Gardens
10.30 Armed forces parade to muster outside Ffwrnes theatre Eastgate
11.00 March off lead by Llanelli Co of Drums – Parade through town to Spring gardens
11.20 Drum head service – Drum laying by combined Cadet Forces
11.25 Service of remembrance
11.50 Drum head taken down
11.55 Parade of Standards
12.05 March past and salute
12.10 Parade through town back to Eastgate lead by Llanelli Co of Drums
12.30 Parade fall out.
