Staff at Jenkins Bakery shops are celebrating raising an amazing £3600 for Cancer Research UK.
The bakery staff broke last year’s record fundraising for the charity by £400.
This was the sixth year for the bakery to embark on a fundraising fortnight for Cancer Research UK .
All 30 Jenkins Bakery shops were decorated with a pink theme to promote Cancer Research UK.
Fund-raising highlights included a sponsored headshave by Cross Hands shop manager Sam Smith.
The money was presented to Swansea Sound broadcaster and entertainer Kevin Johns MBE, who accepted the money on behalf of Cancer Research UK.
Kev said: “This was another fabulous effort by the team at Jenkins Bakery and, with the help of their customers, they have done another fantastic fundraising job.”
