New trainees start with the Jenkins Bakery

Two new trainees have joined the Jenkins Bakery team at the company’s headquarters in Trostre, Llanelli.

Joseph and Lewis will be working in the Bakery and Savoury departments.

They are also joining another of the bakery’s employees, Kyle, on a day-release basis at Neath Port Talbot College to complete a Level 2 Certificate in Professional Bakery.

The trainees are pictured above with Neath Port Talbot College Lecturer Gareth Morgan (a former Jenkins employee).

Russell Jenkins, operations director at the bakery, said: “As a long-standing businesses with proud family traditions, we care very passionately about investing in the craft bakers of the future.
