The magnificent Scarlets Pro 12 rugby trophy win was cheered throughout Wales.
And the cheers were particularly loud among the team at Jenkins Bakery, key supporters and sponsors of the Scarlets for many years.
Two of the directors of Jenkins Bakery were invited to Parc y Scarlets rugby stadium to view the Pro 12 trophy in the hallowed surroundings of the team’s dressing room.
“I think we were all impressed with the passion and commitment shown by the Scarlets on their route to the Pro 12 final in Ireland. Their performance in the final was inspirational, ” said company secretary and director Mr David Jenkins (pictured left).
Operations director Russell Jenkins said: “We have been committed sponsors with the Scarlets for a number of years and visitors to Parc y Scarlets will see our advertising around the ground. We were all delighted to see the team perform so well in the Pro 12 and congratulations go to Wayne Pivac and his players for a magnificent season.
